Build a repeatable daily briefing
Consistency helps separate meaningful change from the urge to react to every headline.
- ✓ Review regime before individual tickers
- ✓ Prioritize changes rather than volume of information
- ✓ Carry forward unresolved questions
- ✓ End with a small, explicit research queue
1. Establish context
Review broad market direction, participation, volatility, rates, scheduled events, and source freshness.
2. Review what changed
Focus on material changes since the prior briefing rather than rereading unchanged information.
3. Rank the queue
Use evidence strength, freshness, risk, validation needs, and relevance to active research. A higher rank means research first—not buy first.
4. Preserve continuity
Save the thesis, sources, missing information, weakening conditions, and next questions so tomorrow's review does not start from zero.
