Engineering standard
Orvanthis targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA as an engineering standard. This is a product-development target, not certification, a warranty of conformance, or a claim of legal ADA compliance.
Product goals
- Keyboard access for primary navigation, dialogs, forms, and research workflows.
- Visible focus states and logical focus movement.
- Responsive reflow for mobile and zoomed layouts.
- Semantic landmarks, headings, labels, and screen-reader support goals.
- Reduced-motion support when a user requests it.
- Readable contrast and no reliance on color alone for important meaning.
- Touch targets sized for practical mobile use.
Testing approach
Source-level and automated checks help detect structural problems, but automated checks alone cannot establish complete accessibility. Human review remains important for keyboard use, screen readers, zoom, text-spacing, responsive reflow, contrast, forced colors, motion, and overall usability.
Known limitations
Some complex research views and third-party content may have limitations. Manual keyboard, screen-reader, 200% and 400% zoom, text-spacing, forced-colors, and rendered 390px and 430px review remain ongoing. If a feature blocks access, contact us so the issue can be investigated.
